When you find yourself in need of the sidechain pumping effect on an iOS DAW lacking sidechaining capabilities, Pumphouse comes to the rescue.

Pumphouse presents itself as a straightforward and high-quality compressor, derived directly from our RoughRider 2 codebase. Paired with a step sequencer that governs an envelope generator, this app enables you to execute sidechain compression on your pads or bassline using a 1-measure pattern, without relying on additional inputs.

Featuring a user-friendly interface, Pumphouse provides a convenient solution for achieving a particular sound.

Pumphouse necessitates transport information for its operation. It's important to be aware that certain iOS AUv3 hosts lack transport functionality (including Auria Pro at the current time). Although an Inter-App Audio version is available, it also mandates transport information.

We have rigorously tested and endorsed the AUv3 compatibility of Pumphouse with reputable applications such as AudioBus 3, Cubasis, GarageBand, AUM, ModStep, Zmors Modular, and Beatmaker 3.
